Eastern Promise Models, Tydd St Giles
This is not a shop but a Mail Order Internet retailer, they are also local so deserve a listing. They are based at Tydd St Giles, they aren't open yet (Open 1st September 2008) for the sale of new Hornby but do a massive range of really nice second hand stuff. They are strictly mail order and internet only as they cannot find a suitable location in the area for a shop.
The business is run by a former member of The Bramley Line who proposed the idea of re-opening the line to Peter Downs, many moons ago.
They are really helpful people, friendly and knowlegable on model railways in general, they also do a motorisation kit for Hornby junction signals as well.
Their prices are very competitive for most things, in fact the cheapest in the area, cheaper than Hattons or Rails.
