Update 08/05/2008

Well I have not done anything on the blog for ages, but I must say how pleased I am with the website. We have now had over 900 hits and the info on the site is bursting at the seams.

However, I am dissapointed that not more members have submitted anything to publish on the site.

I urge all members to please, please, please support the site with material in the future.

A chat room has now been developed for our site, the link can be found at the bottom of the home page. All you have to do is enter a username and chat away.

The chat room will open in a new window so you can carry on surfing the web and any WMRC members online can talk to you if they wish.

Hope you all find this useful, let me know what you think?

Well another exciting part of the website has now been added with the first instalment of Mark Thatcher's Dovecote Light Railway Project. Those of you that have seen what Mark is up to in the garden will probably be intererested to read how it is going and see the latest pictures.

Hope you all like it and will check back next week for the next instalment.

Loco Mania 04/28/2008

Hi, just thought I had to tell you all about a fantastic train game that I have become addicted to.

Its called LOCO MANIA and its fantastic fun. It puts you in control of running a number of trains which you have to get from one location to another using signals and points and a bit of brain power.

I picked up a copy of the game from ebay for £5 but you can download a demo from www.loco-mania.com/. The demo lets you play 3 levels.

Its really great fun and I would recommend it to any train enthusiast. Take a look and see what you think.

Well the first blog will be about this website! I am a member of the club and Treasurer. I have done this website as part of a project for my IT qualification that I am currently doing.

Hopefully you all like the site?

I would like everyone to have an input to the site so please forward any ideas to me and I will try to include them.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
